John Romano, the new Lou Reed?

I am told that I sound like Lou Reed when I sing. A friend bills me as "Lou Reed for chicks". What is the purpose of this page? Basically if anyone is searching for Lou Reed stuff this page will help them find my music as well.

Do I think I'm as cool as Lou Reed or the Velvet Underground? No, WAY! Not possible, as a matter of fact I don't think the level of cool exhibited by Lou Reed in the 70's and early 80's is even possible in today's world.

But, alas, my music is good and our live show is even better.

Some artists when they are told they sound like an artist they copy that artist even more. I know a few dudes who sound alot like Tom Waits and they play it up as if they wrote Hallelujah and Jersey Girl. Not me, I just do my thing and intentionally avoid listening to Lou Reed as to not pick up even more of his sound. The Velvet Underground are amazing though.
